ABOUT

Hi! I'm Elisabeth.

ReCreate Recycling Lab was founded in Brooklyn, NY in 2024 as Trash Club Brooklyn, an inclusive, accessible coastal clean up group dedicated to intercepting and redirecting "un-recyclable" plastics before they entered landfills or local waterways.

Today, we partner with companies and orgs to provide post-consumer plastic recycling and manufacturing services, specializing in plant-based plastics such as PLA.

We continue to research and develop cleaner, greener processing methods: lower-waste, higher-yield, microplastic dust-minimizing practices that ensure every bit of material can be successfully reused.

ReCreate also offers sustainability workshops, and recovery to reuse programs for PLA 3D printer scraps.

We are the proud home of the Precious Plastic Brooklyn Community Point, connecting our local community to the global Precious Plastic movement.
